2. Goods standard for storage

The standards below apply to all goods stored in EFEX warehouses. For goods that do not meet the following conditions, we will advise and perform finishing steps (for a fee) before storing or refusing to store.

General standards:


New product, with manufacturer's labels and stamps intact.
Goods with a minimum shelf life of over 6 months. In case it is less than 6 months, it will have to be confirmed by the seller.
Goods with complete invoices and documents.
Goods with Vietnamese labels showing origin and ingredients.
100% of goods are counted, counted and bonded.
Goods that are not on the list of prohibited trading
EFEX refuses to accept goods classified as toxic substances, dangerous goods, prohibited or restricted by regulations of IATA (International Air Transport Association), ICAO (Civil Aviation Organization). international), any applicable government department, or other relevant organization. Classification is as follows:
Opium, compounds from opium, narcotics, nerve stimulants. Military equipment, weapons, ammunition
Depraved, reactionary publications and cultural products, and documents intended to propagate and sabotage social order and oppose the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Explosive materials, flammable substances, substances that are dangerous, unhygienic, and pollute the environment.
Goods and documents that violate state regulations on goods banned from sending or exporting. Goods that can cause harm to mining staff, transportation vehicles and others.
Types of items that the receiving country prohibits from importing. Types of valuable items and goods such as money, gold, silver, gemstones, etc. comply with security regulations.

Goods classification standards:


Type A: Standard goods: imported normally.
Type D1 (Damaged level 1): The goods are slightly dented, the packaging and box are scratched, the product inside (stamp, seal) is intact.
Type D2 (Damaged level 2): Goods with damaged packaging, boxes, lost seals, lost product seals, missing part or all of the components but the main product inside is intact.
Type D3 (Damage level 3): Deformed and damaged product inside, product with technical errors, product scratched inside, crumpled product.

Standards for placing goods on shelves:


Goods must be placed in cartons or manufacturers' boxes to avoid direct dust and dirt.
Stored goods must be grouped into packs of 5 or 10 for individual goods to facilitate counting (use rubber bands and belts).
Goods must be separated by expiration date and goods with the same expiration date must not be stored in the same location.
Goods must be arranged neatly and placed in the prescribed direction to avoid water leaks or damage due to incorrect placement of the manufacturer's instructions.
Store goods on shelves or pallets.

Detailed regulations for each type of item:

1. Cosmetics and functional foods


a. Goods have spout, screw cap, open cap


For this type of goods, it is very important to ensure that the product does not open or leak, to avoid causing damage during transportation and affecting other goods in the order.
The product must have the lid/spout sealed or wrapped with shrink film before storage



Swivel faucet/faucet with trigger/cap is fragile: use shrink film and clear tape to avoid the lid/faucet from being opened/rotated during transportation.



Note: For flip cap and screw cap products: Customers monitor the breakage rate to decide on additional reinforcement requirements when warehousing. This is not a mandatory requirement, however, customers should note that these products may break during transportation.

b. Imported goods, foreign labels


Goods must be labeled in Vietnamese before being stored and the original label must be kept intact
Standards of secondary labels:
The size of letters and numbers must be large enough to be read with the naked eye.
The colors of letters, numbers, drawings, images, signs and symbols on the product label must be clear.
Goods must be labeled with the following mandatory information in Vietnamese: Name of goods, Name and address of the organization or individual responsible for the goods, Origin of goods, Instructions for use Use and safety notes when using (if any), production date or expiration date must be clearly shown, quantity expressed in net weight or volume.




Label location:
Labeling location must be confirmed by the customer or operations department.
The goods label must be displayed on the goods and commercial packaging of the goods in a position where the required contents of the label can be easily identified and fully recognized without having to disassemble the details. parts of the goods and must not obscure the mandatory contents of the original label.
In case the outer packaging cannot or cannot be opened, the outer packaging must have a label and the label must fully present the required content.



2. Household goods, electronics


a. The goods are rolled (easy to break, scratched), without the manufacturer's box.


Products inspected before storage must be intact, without scratches, dents, or dirt.
The product must be wrapped tightly with airbags/ PE (at least 2 layers) and the product must not be exposed to the outside, including pan handles, pot handles, etc.
Stick labels and barcodes on products after sorting and wrapping
Packed into cartons.



b. The goods have been pre-packaged/boxed by the manufacturer. EFEX is only responsible for sending goods to customers and is not responsible for packaging


The appearance of the goods must be intact, new, with no signs of distortion, dampness, or damage
Inside the product, there must be impact-resistant items (styrofoam, foam, hard paper, etc.)
Check the quality of the box to be sturdy



3. Fashion products, shoes, mattresses, bedding.


The product must be wrapped in a sealed box/bubble bag and must not be open, exposing the product or allowing dirt or insects to enter.
Product appearance must be intact, new, not stained, dirty, torn, or packaging.



4. High value goods (Electronic goods, refrigeration...)


Goods must have intact labels and seals.
The goods box must be new (no scratches, dents, or tears).
Read external warnings (if any) before moving goods to storage location to avoid risks.



5. Goods are physical combos


The Goods Import Team must be given detailed instructions (content and images, videos) on how to pack the Combo: Location of stamps, requirements for packing products into the Combo, attached accessories, etc. before proceeding. handle closing Combo
Combo packaged goods must be completely processed before warehousing and putting on shelves/pallets, not left unfinished to cause confusion.



6. Books/prints


Books are not dirty, torn, or curled.
Books must be sealed, wrapped in plastic or in original boxes or PE to avoid dust and dirt during storage and packaging.



7. Glass and porcelain goods (fragile)



a. The goods are fragile goods (glass, ceramics, brittle, hard plastic items, etc.).


The product must be pre-boxed and intact. If you see any suspicious signs, are old, torn or dented, you need to check the inside.
The inside must be carefully wrapped with airbags or foam around the product
Insert soft paper inside the empty product
Goods that come in sets (including goods with multiple products in the same set, each product needs to be carefully wrapped with soft paper/cloth or explosive foam. At the same time, products in the same box must be separation, impact resistance.



b. The goods are bottles and jars with fragile removable lids



The lid with the product must be wrapped separately with airbags/soft foam or paper
Fix the faucet with soft paper then wrap it with a layer of PE (for goods with faucets and push-on lids)

8. Imported goods in both whole boxes and individual pieces



For products stored in 2 forms: Whole box and Separated, the original product box must be labeled with a distinguishing label according to regulations to avoid confusion when storing.



Products stored in original boxes will have to be affixed with a new barcode for management (different from the original barcode of retail products).

9. The goods are dry foods and confectionery



Food must be new, unstained, with original packaging and labels from the manufacturer.
Goods must have a minimum shelf life of over 6 months. In case it is less than 6 months, it will have to be confirmed by the seller.
Must be packed in bags/air bags/boxes/bottles and tightly packed, leaving the product exposed




10. High value goods



New products.
The box is not dented or scratched.
Goods have clear labels and must not be torn.
Goods must be arranged neatly in the carton, not left out of the box, ensuring there is no dirt, dislocation or compression causing distortion when stored.
